Maintenance Employee | Fulltime | NH Utrecht
Our hotel is perfectly located; next to the Central Station, Beatrix theater and the Jaarbeurs. Our guests can walk straight through the shopping center Hoog Catharijne into the city center. Our hotel is the largest hotel in Utrecht and we have a nice mix of business and leisure guests. During the week we welcome many conference-, meeting- and trade fair guests. In the weekend we mainly welcome guests who enjoy leisure activities. In short, every day is full of surprises. New colleagues are instantly welcomed into our team, and we have welcomed many colleagues from other NH hotels for the next step in their career. We often work together with our cluster hotel NH Centre Utrecht (Janskerkhof) and it could happen that you are also scheduled to work there occasionally. A day in the life of a Maintenance Employee
07:45 After a cup of coffee or tea you report to the workshop of the Technical Department. The technical tasks for the day are divided and one of you is responsible for the breakdown support service telephone.
08:00 You arrange all the tools you need and start with your first task of the day.
10:00 You and your colleagues enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the canteen.
11:00 You solve a malfunction with the revolving door at the main entrance.
12:00 Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.
12:30 You check and perform periodic maintenance on the hot water boiler, for the guests to enjoy a nice warm shower.
14:00 Time for a short break before your last task of the day, painting a wall in a guest room.
15:30 You make sure everything is ready and back in place for the next day.
16:00 Time to go home!
